First Friday lets arts talent shine in Fredericksburg

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the “Art of Recovery” exhibit, which always occurs in May to coincide with National Mental Health Month. In celebration, a special presentation has been planned called “Art, Expression, Light,” named for a quote by Walt Whitman, for First Friday festivities at PONSHOP.

This year, Virginia native and country music singer Mickie James will be at the festival. James was also a professional wrestler, but on Saturday, she’ll belt out tunes for festival attendees.
