Holiday Helping: The Culpeper Christmas Basket Program

HOLIDAY HELPING: See more opportunities to help out for the holidays.

Halloween candy is now a sweet memory, and the holiday season is upon is.  For the next month, we’ll be sharing opportunities to help others.

Here is a chance to help organize the toys and food which will be collected for needy families in Culpeper.

THE CULPEPER CHRISTMAS BASKET PROGRAM is trying to connect generous elves with families in need. Once the goodies are collected, they will need help to organize and wrap food and presents. To help, volunteers are asked to show up on Dec. 10 and 11, 6:30 p.m. at the Brandy Station Fire Hall, 19601 Church Rd.

And in the meantime, if you’d like to sponsor a family, contact Sue Jenkins, 540/825-7768.
