Salvation Army thrift store seeks donations
Elizabeth Willett, the director of financial development said, ”We are still seeing a steady stream of shoppers in the store but with less inventory, or not as appealing inventory, they just browse and leave without a purchase.”
The thrift store takes just about any item (except those which have been recalled) and especially needs clothes. As prom season is just around the corner, the Salvation Army would especially appreciate some formal wear.
If you have a larger item to donate, you can arrange for a pickup by calling 540/891-2242. You can drop off donations at the thrift store Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The store is at 2010 Lafayette Blvd., next to Paul’s Bakery. It is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
