Stuff a truck with toys
The Salvation Army will be collecting toys at area Walmart stores this Saturday (Dec. 8). At each store, there will be a box shaped like a small truck, where you can donate a new, unwrapped toy for children in need.
Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, at the following Walmart stores: Central Park, Massaponax, Rt. 17 in Stafford, Garrisonville, Ferry Farm and Dahlgren.
The Salvation Army needs all sorts of toys so that area children can have a bright Christmas. They especially need toys for boys and girls ages 7 to 14.
