Sandy leaves a mess for Salvation Army
The Salvation Army of Fredericksburg employees are cleaning their offices after Hurricane Sandy and a leaky ceiling. The offices and the thrift store won’t be open today but employees are accepting donations of money, clothing and food. Bring donations to 2012 Lafayette Blvd. For details, call 540/373-3431.
Also, while we dodged a bullet locally, Hurricane Sandy did hit hard in other areas. To help the national Salvation Army’s efforts to aid victims, click here, call 1-800-SAL-ARMY, or text “STORM” to 80888 to make a $10 mobile donation.
