Sensory friendly fall festival
The Autism Society of Northern Virginia and the Fredericksburg Regional Autism Action Group are holding a sensory friendly harvest
party in the fellowship hall of Fredericksburg United Methodist Church on Sunday, Oct. 28, 4-5 p.m.
Partygoers can dress up, but are asked to skip the scary costumes.
Sensory friendly atmosphere and activities include:
- Sensory boxes
- Obstacle course,
- Wheelbarrow races
- Quiet areas
- “Clean” candy option
