Dance Class for Kids With Disabilities
Stage Door Stars will hold a Saturday dance and creative movement class on Oct. 22, 9 a.m. to noon. The class is for children ages 6 to 22.
A speech therapist, occupational therapists, special education teachers, a drama teacher, a choreographer and several volunteers will help with the course. Organizers expect the dancers to learn dance moves–and communication skills, body awareness, social skills and sequencing.
The workshop will cost $50 and be held at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church. Click here to register or for details.
