Housewarming Gifts

Micah Ecumenical Ministries has been moving many homeless clients into permanent housing. But this success creates some challenges for Micah, as the group struggles to furnish these homes. Here are the needs:

For a man who has moved from a long time on the street into an apartment

Sofa or loveseat

Living room chair

Dresser

Bed

Kitchen table and chairs

For two ladies who have moved from individual rooms into a shared apartment

Bed frame for a twin bed

2 Dressers

Living Room Furniture~ futon, chairs (it is a very narrow staircase so a sofa or anything large may be hard to get up there)

Kitchen table and chairs

Blinds/shades or curtains

For two men who have been homeless for many years.

1 mattress/box spring and bed frame

Twin bed frame

Kitchen table

Sofa/chairs (living room furniture)

2 dressers

For a long-time disabled married couple, finally moving into subsidized housing from the street

Couch

Television

Recliner/chair

Full size bed and frame

Bedding for full size bed

2 dressers
