Holiday Help: RCDV

The holidays are just around the corner! And many area residents need your help to have a more festive season. This month, I’m blogging a daily opportunity to reach out for the holidays. You can see most of these opportunities at the Rappahannock United Way’s holiday opportunities guide.

Today’s opportunity comes from Rappahannock Council on Domestic Violence. They are giving gifts to the women and children living in The Haven, the agency’s shelter for those escaping domestic violence. Want to help? RCDV’s wish list includes:

Personal hygiene items for women and children; holiday gifts appropriate for women and children; winter coats, hats and gloves; gift cards to area stores; diapers (sizes 4-6) and pull ups; new pillows, long twin bed sheets, blankets and comforters; and new children’s pajamas.

To help, drop off donations at RCDV’s office, 271 Warrenton Rd. in southern Stafford.
