Kenmore Club Plans Yard Sale

Kenmore Club, a program of the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board will hold a yard sale on Saturday, July 10, 2010 from 8 a.m. to noon. Donations are being accepting through Thursday, July 8 (Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.). Kenmore Club is  in the Barbara C. Terry Building  at 632 Kenmore Avenue, Fredericksburg.

Funds raised through the annual yard sale support club member activities throughout the year.

Kenmore Club provides psychosocial rehabilitation services for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. The purpose of Kenmore Club is to provide citizens who are living with the effects of mental illness the chance to work and become self-supporting members of the community. Members voluntarily participate in work units of their choice that focus on the duties necessary for the daily operation of the club. Educational training and supported employment are also provided. The facility serves more than 50 individuals daily.

For more information or to arrange a donation drop-off, contact Ashley Turner, Kenmore Club Advocate, at or 540-373-7737.
