Philanthropist to Join Celebration

The Rappahannock Area Community Services Board will celebrate 40 years of work tomorrow. The group will celebrate 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the offices at 600 Jackson Street in Fredericksburg.

Philanthropist Doris Buffett and author Mike Zitz will sign copies of  “Giving It All Away: The Doris Buffett Story.”

Books will be available for a $20 donation to RACSB. (Cash or checks made payable to RACSB.) Books purchased previously will also be autographed.

The event will also feature food, entertainment, the Rappahannock Area Kids on the Block, therapy dogs and more.

All activities are open to the public.
