WIZARDS: Streak-Ending Victory Followed By Loss At New York

Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith each scored 20 points and three other players reached double figures in scoring as the New York Knicks handily defeated the Washington Wizards 108-87 at Madison Square Garden on Friday.

Jordan Crawford had a team-high 17 points for the Wizards (1-13), who ended their 12-game losing streak to open the season with a home victory over Portland on Wednesday. Bradley Beal added 14 points, while Kevin Seraphin had 13 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
