WIZARDS: Charlotte Emerges With Victory In Second Overtime

Despite leading by two points with a minute and a half to play in the second overtime, the Washington Wizards lost to the Charlotte Bobcats 108-106 on Friday, extending their season-opening winless streak to 11 games.

Martell Webster scored 21 points for the Wizards and Nene added 19 in 29 minutes as the Wizards attempt to limit his minutes in his second game back from a foot injury.

Chris Singleton made two free throws with 1:27 left in overtime to give the Wizards a 103-101 lead on the Bobcats (7-5), but a jumper by Reggie Williams for his only points of the game allowed Charlotte to reclaim the lead seven seconds later.
