WIZARDS: Loss To Pacers Sets Record For Worst Start In Franchise History

Rookie Bradley Beal scored 18 points and Kevin Seraphin had 13, but the Washington Wizards lost, 96-89, to the Indiana Pacers on Monday at Verizon Center to fall to 0-9 – their worst start in franchise history.

David West scored 13 of his season-high 30 points in the fourth quarter for Indiana (5-7), which took a 26-7 lead with two and a half minutes remaining in the first quarter and hung on even though the Wizards rallied to pull within one point with 3:29 to play.
