Daily Crime Report 9/3/2014

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

Family Dollar, 517 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 9/2 10:00 a.m.  An employee reported that a female subject stole items of merchandise by concealing them in her purse.  The suspect was described as a heavy black female in her 40s wearing a lime green shirt and black shorts.   The investigation is ongoing.

Hard Times Café, 314 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 8/31 9:00 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.  A patron reported that an unknown person stole his cell phone from his vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1300 block Princess Anne St, 9/2 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole a bicycle from his front porch.   No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS:

Donte Jackson, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 2500 block of Airport Avenue.

ARRESTS:

Margaret Morgan, 38, of Manassas was arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans.

Jennifer Vavrick, 39, of no fixed address was arrested on warrants from Spotsylvania charging her with grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

Adam Henry, 25, of no fixed address was arrested on warrants from Spotsylvania charging him with grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

Wayne Payne, 52, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication after being interdicted.

Joshua Cressman, 31, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana and resisting arrest, as well as on outstanding warrants from Spotsylvania and Stafford Counties for failure to appear in court and from Orange County for felony concealment.
