Daily Crime Report 7/14/2014

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

300 block Amelia St, 7/12 -7/13 9:00 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole his BMW from a parking space on the street.  The vehicle was later recovered in the 1000 block of Caroline Street with damage to the interior.  The investigation is ongoing.

400 block Fauquier St, 7/6 – 7/11 12:45 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person entered her vehicle and stole loose change from the console.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Sam’s Pizza, 326 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 7/11 8:40 p.m.  An employee reported that an unknown white male stole a quantity of cash from the tip jar.  The suspect was described as in his 30s with medium length hair and wearing a peach colored polo shirt and a dark colored hat.  The investigation is ongoing.

Joe’s Crab Shack, 2805 Plank Rd, 7/12 9:45 p.m.  An employee reported that an unknown person broke a window on her vehicle and stole her purse from inside the car.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Planet Fitness, 1267 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 7/13 10:20 a.m. – 11:25 a.m.  A patron reported that an unknown person stole his wallet from his unlocked vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Thurman Brisben Homeless Shelter, 471 Central Rd, 7/12 – 7/13 4:30 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole a quantity of cash from her locker.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Cracker Barrel, 1971 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 7/13 3:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.  An employee reported that an unknown person broke a window on her vehicle and stole her purse from inside the car.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Regal Cinemas, 3301 Plank Rd, 7/13 10:20 p.m. – 7/14 12:30 a.m.  A patron reported that an unknown person broke a window on her vehicle and stole her purse from inside the car.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

1200 block Central Park Blvd, 7/7 – 7/11 2:00 p.m.  An officer patrolling in the area reported that he found a broken window on the side of a vacant building.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1200 block Townsend Blvd, 7/10 – 7/11 7:15 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person damaged the rear driver’s side door on her vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1700 block Lafayette Blvd, 7/13 1:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person punctured a tire on her vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS:

Charles McCann, 23, of Springfield, Missouri was arrested for DUI in the 1600 block of Caroline Street.

ARRESTS:

Robert Wayne Deane, 55, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from CVS.

Leonid Smorodintsev-Schiller, 21, of Clifton was arrested for public intoxication, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana.

Daniel Bunch, 37, of Spotsylvania was arrested for urinating in public.

Clyde Meredith, 33, of Macomb, Illinois was arrested for public intoxication.

Sean Griffith, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging him with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Destiney Hargett, 21, of Woodbridge was arrested for shoplifting from Kohls.

James Graves, 61, of King George was arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans.

Clinton Williams, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for trespassing at the quarry.

Angel Epps, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for trespassing at the quarry.

Chazz Brown, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested for trespassing at the quarry.

Brandon Smith, 19, of Annandale was arrested for trespassing at the quarry.

Luis Guerra-Paiz, 19, of Falls Church was arrested for trespassing at the quarry.

James Dickemann, 20, of Annandale was arrested for trespassing at the quarry.

Jose Pleitez, 18, of Woodbridge was arrested for trespassing at the quarry.

Marvin Gonzalez, 19, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing at the quarry.

Alexis Cardoza, 18, of Alexandria was arrested for trespassing at the quarry.

Andrew Soltanovich, 28, of Woodford was arrested for public intoxication.

Brian Guy, 18, of Stafford was arrested for felony attempted prescription fraud and felony conspiracy to commit fraud.

Corey Randall, 31, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans.

Gerald McCloud, 54, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication and possession of marijuana.

Michael Prather, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
