Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

*** As recorded on today’s crime report and the report from the weekend, the Police Department is currently investigating a large number of cases involving citizens who have had small amounts of cash and other items of value stolen from their cars.  While in some of the cases the suspect had to break a window to gain access to the car’s interior, most of the incidents were made easy for the bad guy because the doors were left unlocked.  Please continue to report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood by calling the police immediately and PLEASE LOCK YOUR DOORS! ***
