Daily Crime Report 6/6/2014

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

SUSPICIOUS PERSONS:

400 block Hawke St, 6/5 1:00 p.m.  A city resident reported that she was walking on Hawke Street when a green Ford Expedition occupied by two black males pulled up behind her.  The subjects in the Expedition offered the victim a ride but she ignored them and continued to walk.  The Expedition circled around the block, and the passenger from the vehicle jumped out and started to follow the victim on foot.  The victim started to run, and the man from the Expedition ran after her for a short distance before getting back in the car and leaving the scene.  The victim was unable to get a license plate number for the vehicle and she described both of the males as in their 20s.  The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

900 block Forest Village, 6/4 – 6/5 6:30 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole prescription medication from her unlocked vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

500 block Forest Village, 6/4 – 6/4 7:45 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole items of value from his unlocked vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

800 block Forest Village, 6/4 – 6/5 7:00 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole items of value from her unlocked vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1600 block Forest Village, 6/4 – 6/5 7:45 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole items of value from her unlocked vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1400 block Sophia St, 6/4 – 6/5 2:00 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole a lawn ornament from her front yard.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

800 block Charlotte St, 6/3 – 6/4 8:00 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole a bicycle that had been chained to his front porch.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

1200 block Charles St, 6/5 6:45 p.m.  A city resident reported that an unknown person scratched and damaged her vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS:

Adam Brownback, 30, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 1800 block of Carl D Silver Parkway.

ARRESTS:

Brianne Stephenson, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Bryan Greene, 29, of no fixed address was arrested for felony shoplifting from Walmart.

Michelle Bowie, 32, of Stafford was arrested for felony shoplifting from Walmart.
