Daily Crime Report 5/30/2014

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

Rappahannock EMS Council, 435 Hunter St, 5/29 9:30 a.m.  The manager reported that an unknown person had stolen a quantity of cash from the petty cash box over the past several months.  The investigation is ongoing.

Aladin’s, 2052 Plank Rd, 5/30 12:15 a.m.  A patron reported that an unknown person stole her wallet and later used a credit card to make a purchase at an area business.  The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:

900 block Hanover St, 5/28 – 5/29 9:00 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person shattered the rear window of his truck.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2300 block Forrest Ave, 5/30 3:40 a.m.  A resident reported that he heard a loud noise and found that someone had thrown a rock through his front window.  The investigation is ongoing.

ARRESTS:

Jacquline Johnson, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for felony shoplifting from Walmart.

Gary Freeze, 33, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from CVS.

Darryl Dyson, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for malicious wounding.
