Daily Crime Report 5/9/2014

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

1700 block Lafayette Blvd, 5/8 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole prescription medications from his unlocked vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

7-Eleven, 1240 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 5/7 – 5/8 1:00 p.m.  A resident reported that her wallet was stolen and the offender used her credit cards to make purchases at area businesses.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Walker Grant School, 1 Learning Ln, 5/8 2:30 p.m.  A student reported that an unknown person stole her iPhone.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2500 block Manor Ct, 5/8 2:00 p.m. – 11:45 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole a quantity of cash from her room.  The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:

Dixon Street Carwash, 1603 Dixon St, 5/7 – 5/8 9:20 a.m.  The owner reported that an unknown person broke the security lights at the entrance and exit to the business.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

Melissa Ours, 21, of Gordonsville was arrested for larceny.

Jason Littlejohn, 37, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Alexandria charging him with felony probation violation.

Ijaz Ahmed, 53, of Stafford was arrested for assault.
