Daily Crime Report 4/28/2014

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

BURGLARY:

900 block Myrick St, 4/24 – 4/27 7:00 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person entered the home while she was in the process of moving and stole money and other items of value from the house.  The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

100 block Hillcrest Dr, 4/25 8:00 a.m.  A resident reported that she saw a male subject steal a set of tires and rims from the patio area of her home.  The suspect fled from the scene in a gold Buick.  A short time later, the suspect was located at Dunning Mills Inn and he was taken into custody without incident.  The stolen property was recovered at a tire shop in Spotsylvania County and returned to the victim.  Steven Lee Roberts, 26, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with felony larceny, possession of stolen property with the intent to sell, and attempting to obtain money by false pretenses.

Mary Washington Hospital, 1001 Sam Perry Blvd, 4/26 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.  A Stafford resident reported that an unknown person stole her vehicle from the parking lot of the hospital and returned it to another parking space with damage to the exterior.   The investigation is ongoing.

1500 block Princess Anne St, 4/21 – 4/26 3:15 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole an outdoor heater and a lawn mower from his back yard.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1500 block Kenmore Ave, 4/26 3:30 p.m.  A Stafford resident reported that an unknown person broke a window on her vehicle and stole a wallet and other items of value from inside.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Giant, 1245 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 4/26 5:00 p.m.  A patron reported that an unknown person stole a jacket and other items of value from his unsecured vehicle in the parking lot.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

TGI Friday’s, 1160 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 4/26 11:00 p.m.  A manager reported that two male subjects left the restaurant without paying for their meals.  The investigation is ongoing.

2100 block Idlewild Blvd, 4/26 – 4/27 2:00 a.m.  A resident reported that she and her husband returned home and found that their vehicle had been driven by an unknown person and returned to a parking space around the corner from its original location.  The investigation is ongoing.

City Dock, 200 Sophia St, 4/27 11:25 a.m.  A witness reported that an older white male wearing jeans and a striped shirt stole a length of chain from the Irish Brigade memorial. The witness also reported that the suspect left the scene riding a black bicycle. The investigation is ongoing.

Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 4/27 2:30 a.m.  A loss prevention officer reported that an unknown suspect driving a UHaul truck broke into a storage crate and stole a large number of used vehicle batteries.  The investigation is ongoing.

DUI ARRESTS:

Chad Garnett, 27, of Stafford was arrested for possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and DUI in the 1700 block of Carl D Silver Parkway.

Donnell Green, 45, of King George was arrested for DUI in the 900 block of the Blue and Grey Parkway.

Antwan Benthall, 26, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 1300 block of Central Park Boulevard.

ARRESTS:

Domingue Washington, 26, of King George was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Willie Woodard, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for destruction of property.

Terrence Kandeh, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested for destruction of property.

Sarah Newton, 21, of no fixed address was arrested on a warrant from Stafford charging her with domestic assault and battery.

Terrio Weathers, 22, of Richmond was arrested for possession of alcohol on the riverbank.

Evan Morton, 20, of Richmond was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

Steven Williams, 22, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Nicole Warren, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for failure to appear in court.

Riley Rehberg, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

Matthew Smith, 19, of Partlow was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

Ethan Oakley, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

Jean Novenario, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

Austin Scott, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

Kelsey McPeters, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

Yaroslav Maslov, 18, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

Haley Fisher, 19, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

Heather Evans, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.
