Daily Crime Report 4/17/2014

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

James Monroe High School, 2300 Washington Ave, 4/16 8:00 a.m.  A student reported that an unknown person stole his cell phone from the locker room.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Gold’s Gym, 2380 Plank Rd, 4/16 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  A patron reported that an unknown person stole his wallet and keys from a locker in the locker room.  The offender also used the victim’s credit cards to make purchases at various businesses.  The investigation is ongoing.

ARRESTS:

Steven Newman, 26, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

James Gazzoli, 36, of Fredericksburg was arrested for felony domestic assault and battery.

Elsi Diaz-Padilla, 35, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Karl Kutschera, 47, of Spotsylvania was arrested for trespassing.

John Madison, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana and on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging him with trespassing.
