Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:
Recreation Center, 213 William St, 2/20 7:00 p.m. Police responded for a disturbance and found a 33-year-old male on the sidewalk outside who was bleeding from an injury to his ear. The victim reported that he was struck in the head and arm with a pool stick during an altercation with another man inside the business. The victim was transported to Mary Washington Hospital by ambulance for treatment of his injuries. The assailant was another patron of the business and he was still inside the building when police arrived. Guy Amburgey, 50, of Stafford was arrested for malicious wounding and incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
James Monroe High School, 2300 Washington Ave, 2/20 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. A student reported that an unknown person stole her cell phone from her backpack. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
400 block Chadwick Ct, 2/19 – 2/20 9:00 a.m. A property owner reported that an unknown person entered the home by unknown means and did significant damage to the interior walls and floors of the unoccupied house. The investigation is ongoing.
Tatiana Pappas, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging her with assault and battery.
William Pitts, 30, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Stafford County charging him with felony shoplifting.
Christina Howard, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Stafford County charging her with misdemeanor shoplifting.
