Daily Crime Report 1/8/2014

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

BURGLARY:

Leonard Truck Caps, 1401 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 1/6 – 1/7 8:30 a.m.  The manager reported that an unknown person broke in to the business and stole the cash drawer.  The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

Pitts Automotive, 2610 Princess Anne St, 12/15 – 1/5 9:00 a.m.  The owner reported that an unknown person stole the license plates from his rollback wrecker.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Best Western, 2205 Plank Rd, 1/6 – 1/7 5:30 a.m.  A guest reported that an unknown person shattered the driver side window on his truck.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2600 block Cowan Blvd, 12/10 – 1/7 2:25 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole medications from her apartment.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS:

James Wright, 55, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUID and possession of marijuana in the 3100 block of Village Lane.

ARRESTS:

Latoya Peyton, 27, of Fredericksburg was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and failing to send her child to school.

Matthew Huntley, 28, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication and violation of a protective order.

Adam Alig, 27, of Fredericksburg was arrested on warrants from UMW Police charging him with two counts of obtaining money by false pretenses.

Steven Blair, 42, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.

John Holland, 20, of Columbia, Maryland was arrested for possession of marijuana.
