Daily Crime Report 11/21/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

BURGLARY:

Ugly Bishops Tattoo Shop, 2119 Lafayette Blvd, 11/19 9:30 p.m. – 11/20 9:45 a.m.  An employee reported that an unknown person gained entry to the shop by breaking a window and also stole the cash register.  The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 11/20 5:20 p.m.  An employee reported that a male subject stole three chain saws from the garden section.  The investigation is ongoing.

Wash and Fold, 503 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 11/21 5:00 a.m. – 5:30 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole his phone while he was inside the business.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.  

FRAUD:

Bus Station, 1400 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 11/14 10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  An employee reported that an unknown person passed a counterfeit bill in exchange for fare.  The investigation is ongoing.

Home Depot, 1201 Gateway Blvd, 11/20 3:30 p.m.  An employee reported that a female subject returned items to the store for credit when the items had previously been stolen.  The investigation is ongoing.    

ARRESTS:

Michael Hobby, 51, of no fixed address was arrested for assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest, larceny, and public intoxication.

Ricky Gomez, 35, of Fredericksburg was arrested for 911 misuse.
