Daily Crime Report 11/20/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

VRE Lot, 399 Prince Edward St, 11/15 – 11/19 5:45 a.m.  A commuter reported that an unknown person stole the license plates from his vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

7-Eleven, 905 Lafayette Blvd, 11/18 8:30 p.m.  An employee reported that a white male and white female, both in their 20s, stole various items of merchandise and fled from the store when confronted.  The investigation is ongoing.

7-Eleven, 905 Lafayette Blvd, 11/19 5:15 p.m.  An employee reported that a black male with shoulder length hair stole an item of merchandise by concealing it in his clothing.  The investigation is ongoing.

FRAUD:

900 block William St, 11/14 – 11/19 3:25 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person used her credit card information to make fraudulent purchases.  The investigation is ongoing.

ARRESTS:

Owen Morris, 49, of no fixed address was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart and on warrants from Stafford charging him with disorderly conduct and traffic offenses.         

Frank Smith, 57, of no fixed address was arrested for trespassing and public intoxication.
