Daily Crime Report 11/14/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

Homewood Suites, 1040 Hospitality Ln, 11/12 8:15 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.  A guest reported that an unknown person stole his iPad from his room.  The investigation is ongoing.

200 block Lewis St, 11/12 – 11/13 12:00 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person broke a window on his vehicle and stole loose change from inside.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Virginia Partners Bank, 410 William St, 11/9 – 11/12 8:45 a.m.  An employee reported that a decorative wreath was stolen from a window at the bank.  The wreath was later recovered at a home on Hanover Street.  The investigation is ongoing.  

Car Authority, 1695 Dixon St, 11/8 – 11/11 4:00 p.m.  A customer reported that an unknown person stole the license plates and registration card from her vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

VRE Lot, 399 Prince Edward St, 11/10 – 11/13 6:20 a.m.  An officer patrolling in the area found a vehicle with its driver’s side window broken.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Old Mill Park, 2200 Caroline St, 11/8 – 11/11 7:00 a.m.  An employee reported that an unknown person broke two windows in the maintenance building.   No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

Frank Smith, 57, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
