Daily Crime Report 11/8/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

UNLAWFUL ENTRY:

200 block Kings Mill Ct, 11/7 6:00 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown male subject opened her front door while she was lying on her couch in the living room.  The suspect ran from the scene when the resident shouted at him. The suspect was described as a black male with a goatee and wearing a dark-colored hoodie.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

LARCENY:

200 block Duke St, 11/6 – 11/7 8:30 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole items of value from both of her vehicles.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

600 block Lewis St, 11/7 10:10 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person broke a window on his vehicle and stole loose change from the console.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1900 block Woodlyn Dr, 11/7 10:30 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole his wallet from his room.  The investigation is ongoing.

Rappahannock Women’s Health Center, 1071 Care Way, 11/7 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  An employee reported that an unknown person stole her wallet from her purse which was stored in a staff area.  The investigation is ongoing.

Tool Box Company, 1529 Olde William St, 11/6 – 11/7 4:00 p.m.  An employee reported that an unknown person stole a tool box and various tools from a trailer parked next to the business.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.  

VANDALISM:

VRE Lot, 399 Prince Edward St, 11/6 5:15 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.  A commuter reported that an unknown person shattered a window on his vehicle with a rock. No suspects or witnesses at this time.   

DUI ARRESTS:

Cordell Barrett, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI, having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle, and resisting arrest in the 2000 block of Carl D Silver Parkway.

ARRESTS:

John Bailey, 39, of Jacksonville, Florida was arrested for public intoxication, shoplifting, uttering a forged prescription, possession of a forged prescription, and possession of schedule II narcotics.
