Daily Crime Report 10/4/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

ARMED ROBBERY:

Exxon, 3201 Plank Rd, 10/3 11:10 p.m.  A 53-year-old female employee reported that two male subjects, at least one of whom was armed, entered the store and ordered her onto the floor.  The suspects stole a quantity of cigarettes, lottery tickets, and cash from the registers before they left the scene.  One suspect was described as a black male in his 50s, approximately 5’6”, wearing dark jeans, a lighter colored hooded jacket, and a black ball cap.  He also had a shaved head.  The second suspect was described as a black male in his 40s, between 5’8” and 5’10”, wearing a dark jacket, black cargo pants, brown loafers, and a white ball cap.  He had a mask over his face and was armed with a handgun.  The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

1200 block Cardwell St, 10/2 – 10/3 9:50 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole his bicycle from his carport.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

Cassie Saunders, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested from shoplifting from Kohls.

Secret Graves, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Kohls.

Michael Hobby, 51, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
