Daily Crime Report 10/3/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

UPDATE TO ASSAULT:

Regarding the assault that occurred on September 28, Detective Hunnicutt identified the offender as a Colombian Marine Lieutenant who is temporarily assigned to Quantico.  Isnel A. Lopez, 28, was arrested yesterday and charged with assault and battery, indecent exposure, urinating in public, trespassing, and preventing another person from calling 911.  Lopez was released on a $2500 bond to his commanding officer.

LARCENY:

700 block Amelia St, 10/1 – 10/2 10:50 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole his bicycle from his front porch.  He later located his bike in the back yard of a house on Pitt Street.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.  

1500 block Charles St, 10/2 10:00 a.m. – 1:40 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person broke a window on her vehicle and stole her cell phone and charger from inside.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.     

VANDALISM:

400 block Summit St, 10/2 11:50 a.m.  An officer patrolling in the area discovered graffiti spray painted on a concrete embankment.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS:

Gabrielle Quinn, 25, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 1100 block of Carl D Silver Parkway.

ARRESTS:

Erica Hickey, 22, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Curtis Sowells, 34, of no fixed address was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Travorn Smith, 22, of Stafford was arrested for identity theft, obtaining money by false pretenses, and embezzlement.

Michael Hobby, 51, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and trespassing.
