Daily Crime Report 9/17/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

ROBBERY:

100 block Goldenleaf Ct, 9/16 8:40 p.m.  A Locust Grove resident reported that he made arrangements to meet a male subject to sell his phone that he had listed on Craigslist.  When they met, the unknown male grabbed the phone from the victim’s hand and ran toward Fall Hill Avenue.  The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s wearing a gray hoodie; he also had some facial hair and his braided hair was in a ponytail.  The investigation is ongoing. 

LARCENY:

3300 block Fall Hill Ave, 9/16 8:10 p.m.  A Stafford resident reported that he made arrangements to meet a male subject to sell his phone that he had listed on Craigslist.  After meeting, the victim handed the phone to the supposed buyer for him to look at it and the unknown male took off running with the iPhone in his hand.  The suspect was described as a thin black male in his late teens wearing a black and red jacket, dark jeans, and black shoes.  The investigation is ongoing.

DUI ARRESTS:

Stanley Lapp, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested for child endangerment and DUI in the 400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

ARRESTS:

Isaiah Kitaeff, 18, of Richmond was arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans.

William Schmul, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
