Daily Crime Report 9/5/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

VEHICLE TAMPERING:

300 block Riverside Manor Blvd, 9/4 4:00 a.m.  A resident reported that as he was leaving for work he saw an unknown male rummaging through his roommate’s car.  The witness yelled and the subject ran from the scene.  The suspect was described as a white male or light-skinned black male wearing khaki shorts and no shirt.  The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

1000 block Dorthea Ct, 9/3 – 9/4 9:15 a.m.   A resident reported that an unknown person stole his wallet and loose change from his unlocked vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1000 block Raymond Ct, 9/3 – 9/4 9:45 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole loose change and a bottle of alcohol from his unlocked vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Madison Salon, 1255 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 8/31 8:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  An employee reported that an unknown person stole a quantity of cash from her wallet.   No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

Gene Callaway, 49, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.

Donna Payne, 38, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Kohls.

Lashaun Cook, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging her with passing a bad check.
