Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

ROBBERY CONSPIRACY:

Hardee’s, 1700 Princess Anne St, 8/28 12:05 a.m.  Two detectives patrolling in the area observed a female sitting in a pickup in the parking lot and talking to a man who was standing outside the vehicle.  A short time later, the detectives also observed three male subjects who appeared to be moving stealthily along a nearby fence line and sneaking up on the truck.  One of the suspicious males had removed his shirt and used it to conceal his face.  The two detectives walked along the alley that runs behind Hardee’s and interrupted the three subjects as they attempted to get closer to the truck.  The detectives also called for backup from patrol officers and all three of the suspicious males were detained for questioning, as were the two individuals with the pickup.

The subsequent investigation determined that the female, along with the three males, had planned to assault and rob the 51-year-old intended victim by first distracting him with the promise of sex.

Laura Kinney, 25, of King George; Dashawn Moore-Taylor, 20, of Stafford; Marquis Wellborn, 18, of Spotsylvania, and a 15-year-old juvenile male were all arrested and charged with felony conspiracy to commit robbery.  The three adults were incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond and the juvenile was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
