Daily Crime Report 8/28/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

1900 block Washington Ave, 8/25 – 8/27 2:30 p.m.  A resident reported that a set of gold clubs was stolen from his unlocked vehicle.  The victim later found the clubs for sale at Play it Again Sports.  A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Hyperion Café, 301 William St, 8/26 4:00 p.m.  The owner reported that an unknown male subject stole coffee cups and a bottle of syrup from the counter.  The investigation is ongoing.

Rappahannock Regional Library, 1201 Caroline St, 8/27 5:00 p.m.  A patron reported that an unknown person stole her cell phone when she briefly left it at a computer station.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1700 block Lafayette Blvd, 8/27 4:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person stole a quantity of cash from his wallet inside his apartment.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

Sheetz, 2001 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 8/27 2:45 p.m.  A manager reported that a male subject became irate with the clerk and damaged the door as he was leaving the store.  A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.       

ARRESTS:

Brandon McBrayer, 29, of Fredericksburg was arrested for trespassing.

Eva Acevedo, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Amber Goodman, 21, of Warrenton was arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans.

Juvenile female, 17, was arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans.

Darius Robinson, 31, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication and shoplifting from the Lafayette Boulevard 7-Eleven.
