Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:
ARMED ROBBERY:
300 block Princess Anne St, 3/2 8:30 p.m. A pizza delivery driver reported that he had just completed a delivery and was walking back to his vehicle when he was confronted by a male subject armed with a handgun. The victim complied with the offender’s demands to turn over his cash and wallet and the offender then ran from the area. The victim immediately called 911.
A police K-9 from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene and ran a track, but the suspect was not located. The suspect was described as a black male in his early 20s, approximately 6’ and 210 pounds, with a “scruffy” face. The suspect was wearing a zip-up black hoodie, dark jeans, and white athletic shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
700 block Greystone Ct, 2/24 – 3/1 10:30 a.m. A resident reported that items of value were stolen from his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
FRAUD:
Tobacco House, 525 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 3/1 1:30 p.m. A manager reported that he found a counterfeit bill among the currency in his cash register. The investigation is ongoing.
VANDALISM:
2000 block Lafayette Blvd, 3/1 – 3/2 7:45 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person damaged the windshield of his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Inn at the Old Silk Mill, 1707 Princess Anne St, 3/2 – 3/3 10:50 a.m. Three guests reported that a tire was slashed on each of their vehicles. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
DUI ARRESTS:
Stacey Davis, 25, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 200 block of Howison Avenue.
Christopher Carter, 20, of Ruther Glen was arrested for DUI in the 900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.
ARRESTS:
Teresa Tindal, 33, of Spotsylvania was arrested for assault on a law enforcement officer, assault on a security guard, and disorderly conduct.
Teri Hedrick, 50, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from the Virginia State Police charging her with fraud.
James Brown, 62, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and intoxication after being interdicted.
Jacoby Ellis, 29, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
Taylor Sutton, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public urination.
David Hardesty, 24, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
Danyail Mercer, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
Frank Smith, 57, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication and trespassing.
Sherie Suggs, 35, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
