Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:
WEAPONS VIOLATION:
2200 Gordon Shelton Blvd, 2/2 4:00 p.m. Police responded for reports of a male subject who was illegally shooting on Celebrate Virginia property behind the Slavery Museum site. The two witnesses who reported the incident stated that they approached the male and advised him that he was not allowed to be on the property. After being confronted, the unknown subject fired multiple shots into the ground before leaving the scene in his white Toyota 4-Runner. City officers and a trooper with the Virginia State Police stopped the Toyota near the intersection of Bragg Road and Plank Road and took the driver into custody without incident. Bernhard Randhahn, 45, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI, refusal to submit to a blood or breath test, reckless handling of a firearm, discharging a firearm within the city limits, two counts of brandishing a firearm, and two felony counts of discharging a firearm in or on a vehicle. Randhahn was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond. Three handguns were seized from his vehicle for evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
PURSE SNATCHING:
Target, 1180 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 2/3 6:50 p.m. A 59-year-old Spotsylvania resident reported that she was loading her purchases into the trunk of her vehicle when a male subject grabbed her purse from the shopping cart. The victim chased after the subject across the parking lot until he jumped into the back seat of a silver car and fled the scene. An officer patrolling in the area observed a silver vehicle driving at a high rate of speed and without its headlights on; the officer stopped the vehicle on Central Park Boulevard and located the victim’s purse behind the driver’s seat. The three occupants of the vehicle, all from Woodbridge, were subsequently detained and charged: Cody Lillard, 22, was arrested for grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny, and possession of marijuana; Raven Heard, 19, and Tabitha Compton, 21, were both arrested for conspiracy to commit grand larceny. Compton was released on a personal recognizance bond, while Heard was incarcerated under a $1000 bond and Lillard was incarcerated under no bond. All of the victim’s property was returned to her.
BURGLARY:
Living Word Fellowship Church, 1500 Stafford Ave, 1/31/ – 2/1 9:00 a.m. The pastor reported that an unknown person broke in to the church and stole a guitar and amplifier from the music room. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY:
2100 block Idlewild Blvd, 2/1 – 2/2 10:30 a.m. A resident reported that she found pry marks and other damage around her front door jamb. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
1100 block Hoke Ln, 2/1 – 2/2 10:00 a.m. A resident reported that the cover to his air conditioning unit was stolen. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
1400 block Washington Ave, 2/1 – 2/2 3:00 p.m. A resident reported that two tires on his daughter’s vehicle were punctured and flattened. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
DUI ARRESTS:
Theresa Downs, 46, of Amissville was arrested for DUID in the 1500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

Shelwyn Comford, 28, of Stafford was arrested for petit larceny.
Undia Fryar, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Bradley Heath, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans.
Christopher Heath, 28, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans.
Ronda O’Neal, 33, of Oxon Hill, Maryland was arrested for possession of marijuana and felony shoplifting from Walmart.
Nina Shaw, 29, of Forestville, Maryland was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Matthew Eissler, 28, of Clermont, Florida was arrested for public intoxication.
Catherine Pruitt, 57, of Locust Grove was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Kristina Sullivan, 22, of King George was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
James Hitch, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the city noise ordinance.
Dylan Gott, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the city noise ordinance.
Hassan Abdulmoniem, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Michael Lundquist, 19, of Reston was arrested for public intoxication and underage possession of alcohol.
Rodell Callahan, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
