Daily Crime Report 1/31/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

INDECENT EXPOSURE:

1200 block Caroline St, 1/31 1:10 a.m.  A 23-year-old female reported that she was sitting in her vehicle parked on the street in front of the library in order to access the WiFi for schoolwork when a male subject approached her car.  The unknown subject walked up and down the sidewalk near her vehicle, and then stopped in front of her passenger side headlight and committed an obscene act while exposing himself. (§ 18.2-387)  The suspect walked away as the victim was on the phone with police.  The suspect was described as a black male between 35 and 45 years old, of average height and with acne scars on his face.  He was wearing baggy blue jeans, a navy blue hoodie with a front zipper and a dark colored ball cap which he wore turned backwards.  The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

Gold’s Gym, 2380 Plank Rd, 1/30 5:15 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.  Two patrons reported that an unknown person broke a window out of each of their vehicles and stole the purses that had been left inside the cars.  One victim’s credit cards were later used to make purchases at area businesses.  The investigation is ongoing.  

ARRESTS:

Robin Perkins, 49, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Culpeper charging her with making harassing phone calls.

Francis Perkins, 29, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Culpeper charging her with making harassing phone calls.
