Daily Crime Report 1/24/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:


Buffalo Wild Wings, 1638 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 1/24 12:10 a.m.  Police responded to reports of a fight in the parking lot and found that one of the groups involved had already left the scene.  A 21-year-old female who was there with three friends told police that an unknown male grabbed her by the neck and slammed her into a vehicle.  The victim reported that there was no exchange of words or reason behind the assault.  The assailant was described as a black male in his 20s wearing a tan coat; he had a slim build and slight goatee.  The suspect left the scene in a white or silver Chrysler Pacifica.  The investigation is ongoing. 


Ground Keepers, 1515 Olde William St, 1/20 – 1/21 7:50 a.m.  The business owner reported that a toolbox full of miscellaneous tools was stolen from a storage shed.  The investigation is ongoing.

2600 block Caroline St, 1/23 6:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.  A resident reported that she found evidence of pry marks and damage to the door frame of her home.  No apparent entry was gained to the interior.  The investigation is ongoing.


Buffalo Wild Wings, 1638 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 1/24 12:30 a.m.  A patron reported that her jacket and wallet were stolen from a booth.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 1/23 4:40 a.m.  An employee reported that two male subjects stole pallets of compressed cardboard from the rear of the store.  The investigation is ongoing.

Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 1/23 3:00 p.m.  A loss prevention employee reported that an unknown person stole a laptop computer from the display shelf and left the empty box behind.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.


Cynthia Papa, 46, of no fixed address was arrested for trespassing.
