Daily Crime Report 1/18/2013

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

BREAKING AND ENTERING:

1200 block Caroline St, 1/16- 1/17 9:00 p.m.  A resident reported that he found the linens on a bed disturbed and an item of property inside the apartment that did not belong.  Entry was apparently made to the residence through an unsecured window.  The investigation is ongoing.     

LARCENY:

1400 block Kenmore Ave, 1/17 1:40 p.m.  A resident reported that he heard two loud bangs and saw a male subject running away from his vehicle.  The victim then discovered a window on his vehicle broken and his girlfriend’s purse and cell phone missing from inside the car.  The victim described the suspicious running male as white or Hispanic, approximately 25 years old, and wearing a dark blue hoodie with the hood pulled up.  The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:

400 block Maple Ct, 1/17 – 1/18 4:45 p.m.  A resident reported that a tire on her vehicle was slashed.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.    

DUI ARRESTS:

Eduardo Hernandez-Sangabriel, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 2900 block of the Blue Gray Parkway.

ARRESTS:

Kevin Chubb, 50, of Locust Grove was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Tremaine Fletcher, 21, of Milford was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Christopher Brooks-Mitchell, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Brian Roth, 29, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana.

William Norden, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

Elyse Hammond, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

Jesse Rzepka, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
