Daily Crime Report 12/21/2012

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

BURGLARY:

100 block Wellington Lakes Dr, 12/20 5:15 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  A resident reported that she returned home to find her front door ajar and pry marks around the dead bolt lock.  Nothing was stolen from the apartment.  The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

1400 block Winchester St, 1/20 – 12/20 1:40 p.m.  A resident reported that a wrought iron shelving unit was stolen from the back yard/alleyway area behind her house.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

CVS, 591 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 12/21 5:40 a.m.  Employees reported that a male subject stole merchandise from the shelves by hiding the items under his clothing. The suspect was described as a black male with dread locks, wearing khaki pants and a black jacket.  The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:

1000 block Railroad Ave, 12/20 9:45 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person broke the front window on her house.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

Leon Roberts, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery, preventing another person from calling 911, and destruction of property.

Michael Rock, 18, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Johnathan Bechtel, 19, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Michael Lockard, 19, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Charles Cutchin, 56, of no fixed address was arrested for probation violation.
