Daily Crime Report 12/10/2012

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

1400 block Prince Edward St, 12/7 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.  A resident reported that inflatable holiday decorations were stolen from her yard.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

400 block Hanover St, 12/6 – 12/7 7:30 a.m.  A resident reported that a life size Nutcracker figure was stolen from the front porch.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Best Buy, 1541 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/8 5:15 p.m. – 5:40 p.m.  An employee reported that his cell phone was stolen while he was working.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

River Run Antiques, 925 Caroline St, 12/6 – 12/7 11:20 a.m.  A vendor reported that an unknown person pried open a locked curio cabinet and stole a number of gold rings.  The investigation is ongoing.

7-Eleven, 1240 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 12/7 3:30 p.m.  An employee reported that an unknown subject stole a large amount of cash from the office.  The investigation is ongoing.

Thurman Brisben Shelter, 471 Central Rd, 12/8 3:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  A resident reported that her cell phone was stolen from the bunk room.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Whittingham China, 1021 Caroline St, 12/8 4:15 p.m.  A Spotsylvania resident reported that she lost her wallet while shopping.  Friends of the victim located her wallet on the back step of the business, but a large amount of cash had been removed from it.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Whittingham China, 1021 Caroline St, 12/8 4:30 p.m.  A Spotsylvania resident reported that cash and credit cards were stolen from her wallet while she was shopping.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

100 block William St, 12/6 – 12/7 9:45 a.m.  The property manager reported that an unknown person threw a brick through the front window of a vacant building.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1400 block Graham Dr, 12/7 – 12/8 7:15 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person destroyed a snowman decoration that had been sitting on her front porch.  The remains of the snowman were thrown into the complainant’s driveway.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

Timothy Shaw, 19, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Stefanie Hill, 30, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Rene Chavez, 24, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.

Ryan Nugent, 28, of Heathersville was arrested on warrants from Richmond County charging him with providing false identification to avoid arrest and driving while revoked.

Brian Kearns, 34, of Spotsylvania was arrested for violation of a protective order.

Kadim Harmon, 18, of Stafford was arrested for making threats by phone.

Jennifer Ruiz Juarez, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for assault. 

Mackenzie Carson, 19, of Clifton was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

Nicklaus Smith, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.

David Ritter, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.

Alan Clark, 35, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.

Manika Roach, 33, of Rhoadesville was arrested for possession of a schedule II narcotic, shoplifting from Walmart, and on an outstanding shoplifting warrant from Culpeper.

Danielle Roach, 28, of Spotsylvania was arrested for felony shoplifting and conspiracy to commit shoplifting from Walmart.

Charlie Francis, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for felony shoplifting and conspiracy to commit shoplifting from Walmart, as well as on an outstanding warrant from Culpeper charging him with failure to appear in court.

Jeremiah Sanderson, 34, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.

Derrick Barker, 31, of Spotsylvania was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance and violation of the occupancy code.

Leigh Rakovitch, 30, of Spotsylvania was arrested for urinating in public.

John Gahr, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and assault and battery. 

Beth McDermott, 30, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.

James Craig, 47, of Springfield, Massachusetts was arrested for public intoxication.

Tonya Childs, 33, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Bottom Dollar.
