Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:
Sheetz, 2001, Carl D Silver Pkwy, 11/15 3:10 a.m. A Spotsylvania resident reported that a female friend picked him up at his home and drove to the Sheetz in order to put gas in her car. The victim gave the female money for the fuel and after paying the clerk, the female started talking to two male subjects who were standing outside the doors of the business. The two males then got into the back seat of the car with the victim in the passenger seat and the female driving. After driving around for a few minutes, one of the males in the back seat placed an object that the victim believed was a gun against the back of the victim’s head and demanded his cash and cell phone. The victim turned over the phone and a small amount of cash. The female then drove to an ATM in Central Park where the victim was told to withdraw more money. Instead, the victim ran to the nearby Wawa on Carl D. Silver Parkway and called police.
Investigators were able to identify the female from surveillance video obtained from the Sheetz, and Shaina Ramirez, 25, of Stafford was arrested that afternoon in the Four Mile Fork area of Spotsylvania County. Additional information was received regarding the identity of the two male subjects, and Christopher Fox, 21, and Mark Reynolds, 22, both of Spotsylvania, were arrested by Spotsylvania County deputies a short time later. Ramirez, Fox, and Reynolds were all charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery and were incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
