City closings for Tuesday

Here are the closings and cancellations that have been announced so far:

• City schools – closed
• Tuesday trash and recycling service is cancelled and rescheduled for Wednesday.  Expect the trash service to be somewhat delayed once it resumes on Wednesday.
• Visitor Center – closed
• Health Department – closed
• Parks and Recreation – no activities
• The public hearing concerning the Fall Hill Avenue Widening and Mary Washington Boulevard Extension that was scheduled for Tuesday, October 30 has been postponed due to the storm.  Information will be posted soon about the rescheduled meeting date.
