Daily Crime Report 8/20/2012
Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:
1200 block Kenmore Ave, 8/19 12:30 am. A resident reported that an unknown number of people assaulted him inside his apartment and stole a quantity of cash from his pocket. The victim could not provide descriptions of his assailants although he indicated that they had been invited guests. The investigation is ongoing.
Quaker Steak, 1300 Central Park Blvd, 8/17 – 8/18 12:10 am. A female reported that she was assaulted by another female at the restaurant during an altercation which started between two males at the outside bar. The victim reported that an unknown female grabbed her by the hair, threw her to the ground, and hit her several times. The suspect was described as a white female in her early 20’s, approximately 5’8” and 165 pounds, and with blond hair. The suspect left the scene in a black sedan. The investigation is ongoing.
200 block Hillcrest Dr, 8/17 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. A resident reported that her son’s bicycle was stolen from the yard. A neighbor reported that two young white males were seen riding the bike away from the residence. No known suspects at this time.
1000 block Bakersfield Ln, 8/18 – 8/19 12:00 pm. A resident reported that her driver’s license and credit cards were stolen from a bag in her unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
900 block Charles St, 8/16 – 8/18 10:30 am. A resident reported that an unknown person spray painted words and images on the back of her truck. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Shanks Tow Lot, 1313 Alum Springs Rd, 8/19 2:30 am – 3:00 am. An employee reported that the gate to the tow lot was damaged, apparently when a vehicle was removed from the lot unlawfully. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St, 8/17 – 8/19 7:00 am. An employee reported that the glass pane in the lower section of an entrance door was broken. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
300 block Stonewall Dr, 8/19 2:20 am – 6:00 pm. A resident reported that the passenger side mirror on his vehicle was damaged and remained attached to the car only by the wiring. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Brian Silliman, 29, of Bowie, Maryland was arrested for DUI and driving in violation of a restricted license in the 3000 block of Mall Court.
Jay Jensen, 38, of Stafford was arrested for DUI in the 400 block of William Street.
Angel Webb, 26, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 3400 block of Fall Hill Avenue.
Ashley Staton, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 1000 block of Fall Hill Avenue.
Grace Bruce, 50, of no fixed address was arrested for shoplifting from Bottom Dollar.
Sheri Loving, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Kohls.
Vicki Blankenbaker, 27, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Kohls.
Joy Diamond, 35, of Stafford was arrested for resisting arrest and failure to appear in court.
Samantha Jones, 25, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
Leslie Jozsa, 50, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Jason Morrison, 26, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.
Michael Jaster, 19, of no fixed address was arrested on a warrant from Richmond charging him with failure to appear in court.
