Daily Crime Report 7/31/2012

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

 1600 block Franklin St, 7/29 – 7/30 8:45 am.  A resident reported that a quantity of loose change was stolen from her unlocked vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

 900 block Hanover St, 7/29 – 7/30 3:00 am.  A resident reported that his bicycle was stolen from the front porch.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

 Homewood Suites, 1040 Hospitality Ln, 7/30 2:00 am – 10:30 am.  A guest reported that the lock was broken off his tag-along trailer and a quantity of ammunition was stolen from inside.  The rear window of the vehicle pulling the trailer was also shattered.  The investigation is ongoing.

 1700 block Charles St, 7/9 (reported 7/30)  A resident reported that jewelry was stolen from her bedroom.  Some of the jewelry was later discovered to have been sold to Fredericksburg Gold and Pawn.  The investigation is ongoing.   

 VANDALISM:

 Cal Ripken Foundation, 1000 Wicklow Dr, 7/27 – 7/30 7:00 am.   The manager reported that a sign mounted on the side of the building was damaged.  No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

 ARRESTS:

 Terrick Waiters, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested for embezzlement.

 David Vanallen, 32, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging him with violation of a protective order.

 Jarred Kee, 18, of Stafford was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

 Shawn Garrison, 30, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.

 Frank Dungan, 31, of Stafford was arrested for drinking in public.

 Mark Morris, 49, of no fixed address was arrested for possession of glass containers on the riverbank.

 George Smith, 59, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication, obstruction of justice, and assault on law enforcement.

 Terrence Whiteside, 27, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.

 Natavia Phillips, 20, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.
