Daily Crime Report 7/3/2012

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

BURGLARY:

 1600 block Princess Anne St, 6/11 – 7/2 2:30 pm.  A resident reported that she returned home from vacation and found a broken window and evidence of entry into the house.  Nothing appeared to be stolen.  The investigation is ongoing.

 400 block Canal St, 7/2 9:00 am – 6:30 pm.   A resident reported that an unknown person entered the home and stole an iPad, some jewelry, and several bottles of liquor.  It is unclear how entry was gained to the residence.  The investigation is ongoing.

 PROWLER:

 1400 block Payne St, 7/3 2:15 am.  A resident reported that she was awakened by her dog barking and saw two figures crouching outside her basement level bedroom window.   The unknown suspects left the area prior to police arrival.  No known suspects at this time.

 LARCENY:

 600 block Greystone Ct, 6/30 – 7/2 9:45 am.  A resident reported that a license plate was stolen from his vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

 400 block Chadwick Ct, 6/15 – 7/2 10:00 am.  A visitor found a purse behind a house in the neighborhood and documents inside the purse identified it as belonging to a resident on Chadwick Court.  The owner was located and reported that the purse had been missing since June 15 and she presumed that it had been stolen, although she didn’t report it.  A quantity of cash was missing from the purse when it was found.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

 ARRESTS:

 Caitlin Strait, 20, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing at the Fredericksburg quarry.

 Sean Trudnak, 21, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing at the Fredericksburg quarry. 

 Jose Barahona, 49, of unknown address was arrested for public intoxication.

 Raven Dueno, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery and possession of marijuana.

 Sophia McMahon, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

 Heather Lester, 21, of Woodford was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

 Patrick Rector, 23, of Bethany Beach was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

Brenna Corbett, 22, of Woodford was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

William Pezzuto, 27, of Woodford was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.

Durven Dawes, 28, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank after dark.
