Daily Crime Report 6/22/2012

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

DRUNK AND DISORDERLY:

 Otter House, 1005 Princess Anne St, 6/22 12:20 am.  Police responded for reports of a fight involving a large number of people on the sidewalk and in the street outside the business.  There were no reported injuries.  Several individuals were taken into custody for their part in the altercation.  Percy Johnson, 21, of Stafford was arrested for disorderly conduct and incarcerated under a $1000 bond.  Justin Wilson, 30, of Fredericksburg and Ryheem Morton, 21, of Spotsylvania were each arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct and incarcerated under $1000 bonds.   Souton Johnson, 26, of Spotsylvania was arrested for disorderly conduct and released on his own recognizance.  While officers were gaining control of the crowd, one of them witnessed a female breaking the window of a neighboring business at 1001 Princess Anne Street.  Brittany Santiago, 23, of Stafford was arrested for destruction of property and released on her own recognizance.

 BURGLARY:

 College Heights Swim Club, 500 Greenbrier Dr, 6/20 – 6/21 7:30 am.  The manager reported that the key box and its contents were taken from the fence and an unknown person entered the office and stole the money from the cash box.  A piece of audio equipment was also stolen.  The investigation is ongoing.

 LARCENY:

 Lafayette Tire, 614 Lafayette Blvd, 6/20 6:00 pm – 6/21 7:30 am.  A mechanic reported that the spoiler was stolen from a customer’s vehicle and the rear windshield was also shattered.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

 Buffalo Wild Wings, 1638 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 6/20 – 6/21 1:00 am.  A Spotsylvania resident reported that an unknown person broke a window from his rental car and stole his laptop computer.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

 VANDALISM:

 100 block Wellington Lakes Dr, 6/16 – 6/18 12:00 pm.  An employee of Dominion Youth Services reported that one of the company vans was damaged when an unknown person put potting soil on the hood and in the gas tank.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

 DUI ARRESTS:

 Kenneth Proctor, 59, of Ruther Glen was arrested for DUI and refusal to submit to a blood or breath test in the 3300 block of Fall Hill Avenue.

  ARRESTS:

 John Altena, 55, of Shelby Township, Michigan was arrested for animal neglect for leaving his dog in a vehicle while he was inside Wegmans.   

 Cierra Childs, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested for attempted felonious assault and possession of marijuana.

 Jennifer Vavrick, 37, of Stafford was arrested for larceny with intent to distribute, conspiracy to commit shoplifting, and felony shoplifting from Walmart.

 Christopher Fey, 37, of Stafford was arrested for larceny with intent to distribute, conspiracy to commit shoplifting, and felony shoplifting from Walmart.

 Andrew Foster, 46, of no fixed address was arrested for possession of alcohol by an interdicted person.

 Portia Eura, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested on warrants from Stafford charging her with two counts of passing bad checks.

 Jessica Mullins, 27, of no fixed address was arrested for assault and shoplifting from Burlington Coat Factory.
