Daily Crime Report 6/21/2012

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

 Fredericksburg Quarry, 1099 Wicklow Dr, 6/20 2:00 pm.  A Spotsylvania resident reported that two male subjects stole his backpack while he and friends were swimming.  The two suspects were described as both white males about twenty years of age, and both had tattoos.  They left the scene in a white vehicle.  No known suspects at this time.

 Old Mill Park, 2200 Caroline St, 3:00 pm.  A Spotsylvania resident reported that his cell phone was stolen from his backpack while he was swimming in the river.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

 Regal Cinemas, 3301 Plank Rd, 6/20 8:50 pm – 11:10 pm.  A patron reported that an unknown person broke the passenger side window on her vehicle and stole a bag containing a cell phone and some clothing.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

 ARRESTS:

 Andrew Jones, 18, of Stafford was arrested for providing false information to law enforcement to avoid arrest and on warrants from Spotsylvania charging him with grand larceny and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

 Donald Lee, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication and shoplifting from CVS.
