Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:
LARCENY:
800 block Mercer St, 6/10 – 6/11 8:00 am. A resident reported that an unknown person rummaged through the glove box of her unsecured vehicle and stole two purses from her trunk. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
900 block Marye St, 6/10 – 6/11 9:00 am. A resident reported that his GPS was stolen from his unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
800 block Sunken Rd, 6/8 – 6/10 4:25 pm. A resident reported that an American flag was stolen from his front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VEHICLE TAMPERING:
600 block Hawke St, 6/10 – 6/11 7:00 am. A resident reported that an unknown person entered his unlocked vehicles and tampered with the contents of the glove boxes and consoles. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
100 block Farrell Ln, 6/9 – 6/10 9:00 am. A resident reported that her rear sliding glass door was shattered, apparently by BB shot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
300 block Progress St, 6/11 1:00 pm – 3:20 pm. A Spotsylvania resident reported that a window on her vehicle was smashed. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
ARRESTS:
Joseph Halley, 31, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Brittany Turner, 20, of King George was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Alizabeth Hernandez, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Stanley Covington, 53, of no fixed address was arrested for drinking in public.
Melody Harper, 25, of Stafford was arrested for obstruction of justice.
