Daily Crime Report 6/8/2012

Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:

LARCENY:

 3200 block Fall Hill Ave, 6/7 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm.  A Spotsylvania resident reported that a passenger side window was broken and her wallet was stolen while her vehicle was parked in the lot next to the canal path.  No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

 200 block Keavy Ct, 6/6 – 6/7 7:50 am.  A resident reported that her vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of her apartment complex.  The vehicle is a black Chevrolet Impala with Virginia license plates.  The investigation is ongoing.

 Rosner Mercedes, 5/18 – 6/7 3:30 pm.  A manager reported that a loaner vehicle was stolen from the lot.  The vehicle is a 2012 black Mercedes four-door bearing a Virginia dealer tag.  The investigation is ongoing.

 VANDALISM:

 1300 block Kenmore Ave, 6/6 9:00 am – 8:00 pm.  A resident reported that an unknown person cut the screen from one of the bedroom windows.  Access was not gained to the apartment.  The investigation is ongoing.  

 DEFECATING IN PUBLIC:

 Fredericksburg Square, 525 Caroline St, 6/4 8:40 pm.   The owner reported that a male subject defecated on the front porch of the business.  The act was captured on surveillance video and the investigating officer recognized the offender as an individual who frequents the downtown area.  Charges are pending.

 DUI ARRESTS:

 Charlotte Takewell, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI and reckless driving in the 300 block of Charlotte Street.

 ARRESTS:

 Gulam Ebrahim, 34, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication. 

 Stephanie Minter, 27, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication and shoplifting from Walmart.

 Randolph Hilman, 27, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
